Python/React Developer

Job description

In this role, you will contribute to both the development and operation of the platform, combining Python backend development, React frontend engineering, API management, data pipeline development, and AI use case onboarding .

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Tech Leads, Business Analysts, Data Scientists, DevOps, MLOps, Data, Security, Procurement, and international business teams in a complex, distributed, and highly secure cloud environment.

Your Mission

As a Senior Full-Stack Developer, you will:

• Develop and enhance a strategic internal platform for RAG-based AI assistants and conversational bots.
  
  
• Build modern user interfaces using React and robust backend services using Python.
  
  
• Support the industrialization and international deployment of new AI use cases.
  
  
• Develop and maintain data preparation, ingestion, and orchestration pipelines.
  
  
• Integrate internal and external services through secure and scalable APIs.
• Monitor existing bots and ensure their stability, security, and performance.
  
  
• Standardize onboarding and deployment processes to accelerate the adoption of the platform across different countries.
  
  
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform, its architecture, and its engineering practices.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Development

• Design, develop, and maintain platform components using Python and React .
  
  
• Build scalable backend services, APIs, and automation capabilities.
  
  
• Develop modern, intuitive, and maintainable frontend interfaces.
  
  
• Translate business and functional requirements into effective technical solutions.
  
  
• Write clean, reusable, testable, and well-documented code.
  
  
• Contribute to architectural and technical design discussions.
  
  
• Support both change activities and the daily operation of the platform.
  
  

Frontend Engineering

• Develop and improve user interfaces using React .
  
  
• Build reusable and consistent UI components.
  
  
• Ensure frontend solutions are responsive, accessible, user-friendly, and performance-oriented.
  
  
• Collaborate with business and product stakeholders to understand user needs.
  
  
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and APIs.
• Identify opportunities to improve usability and the overall platform experience.
  
  

Python Development

• Develop backend components, automation scripts, and platform services using Python.
  
  
• Use Python for data preparation, transformation, and pipeline development.
  
  
• Design maintainable and scalable solutions aligned with internal engineering standards.
  
  
• Support debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  
  
• Contribute to the integration of AI services and supporting technical components.
  
  

AI & RAG Platform Development

• Contribute to the development and evolution of the internal RAG platform.
  
  
• Support document ingestion and data preparation processes for AI use cases.
  
  
• Help integrate and orchestrate AI models, tools, and services.
  
  
• Collaborate with Data Science and MLOps teams to operationalize AI capabilities.
  
  
• Support the integration of conversational bots and digital assistant components.
  
  
• Help ensure that AI solutions are secure, scalable, reliable, and suitable for enterprise use.
  
  
• Use feedback from countries and platform users to improve the quality and effectiveness of AI services.
  
  

Data Pipelines & Orchestration

• Develop and maintain data pipelines supporting AI and platform use cases.
  
  
• Prepare, transform, validate, and process data used by RAG and conversational AI solutions.
  
  
• Contribute to document ingestion workflows.
  
  
• Support workflow and process orchestration.
  
  
• Monitor pipeline execution and resolve data processing issues.
  
  
• Implement appropriate validation, logging, error handling, and recovery mechanisms.
  
  
• Work with Airflow where applicable to schedule and orchestrate data processes.
  
  

Use Case Onboarding & International Rollout

• Support the onboarding of new countries and AI use cases onto the platform.
  
  
• Create and configure the technical environments required for new implementations.
  
  
• Follow up on onboarding activities, technical dependencies, and delivery progress.
  
  
• Provide technical support during implementation and deployment phases.
  
  
• Help standardize onboarding activities through reusable processes, documentation, and automation.
  
  
• Create and maintain a practical onboarding playbook.
  
  
• Identify opportunities to reduce onboarding complexity and accelerate delivery.
  
  
• Support the transition of new use cases into stable production operation.
  
  

API Management & Systems Integration

• Develop and maintain secure integrations between the platform and internal or external services.
  
  
• Support API lifecycle management using solutions such as Apigee .
  
  
• Ensure APIs are scalable, properly documented, and aligned with security standards.
  
  
• Collaborate with Security, DevOps, and Architecture teams on integration requirements.
  
  
• Monitor API performance and troubleshoot integration failures.
  
  
• Maintain clear API contracts and technical documentation.
  
  

Platform Operations & Support

• Monitor the platform and the existing conversational bots.
  
  
• Investigate and resolve incidents affecting application availability, functionality, or performance.
  
  
• Provide technical support for platform users and country teams.
  
  
• Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  
  
• Monitor application health, dependencies, and technical services.
  
  
• Support operational stability across different environments.
  
  
• Contribute to runbooks, incident procedures, and support documentation.
  
  

DevOps & Continuous Delivery

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using technologies such as:Jenkins
• GitLab CI/CD
• Argo CD
• Support automated build, testing, deployment, and release activities.
  
  
• Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to improve delivery reliability and efficiency.
  
  
• Promote repeatable and controlled deployment processes.
  
  
• Ensure platform changes are traceable, tested, and safely deployed.
  
  
• Contribute to the improvement of development and release workflows.
  
  

Security & Technical Quality

• Apply secure software development practices throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  
  
• Monitor and support the remediation of:Application vulnerabilities
• Dependency vulnerabilities
• Security configuration issues
• Collaborate with Security teams to ensure compliance with internal requirements.
  
  
• Contribute to code reviews, automated testing, and technical quality controls.
  
  
• Ensure that integrations and platform components follow security and data protection principles.
  
  
• Proactively identify technical risks and improvement opportunities.
  
  

Agile Collaboration

• Work closely with the squad's Tech Leads, Tribe Tech Lead, Product Owner, Business Analysts, and other engineers.
  
  
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including:Sprint Planning

• Identify and document technical debt across the platform.

• Stay informed about developments in AI, RAG, data engineering, frontend technologies, and cloud-native development.
  
  
• Propose new tools, practices, and technical improvements relevant to the platform roadmap.

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience .
